I am an American artist based in Bologna.
I was born in Los Angeles in 1987 and lived in Cincinnati, Montreal, Munich, Boston and Ancona before settling in Bologna in 2023.
Light has always been at the center of my work and curiosity. It first led me to study physics - I earned a bachelor’s degree in Honours Physics from McGill University and a master’s degree in Physics from the California Institute of Technology.
In 2016 I moved into the visual arts, working full-time as a commercial illustrator. My clients included the city of Ancona, Monocle Magazine, Toyota Canada, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Air Canada enRoute, Cottage Life Magazine, AARP, Atlas Obscura, Quartz, and The Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series, among others.
Since 2020 I have shifted my focus toward personal work, running online print shops for my illustrations in both the US and EU. In 2025 I began painting, focusing on architecture and industrial spaces in Bologna and nearby Ancona. The same curiosity about light that once led me to physics now guides my painting practice.
